For each movement, there is one breath. Vinyasa essentially means synchronization of the breath with movement, and that synchroinicity is at the heart of the practice. Practising Sūryanamaskāra on a regular basis also helps develop strength and stamina, whilst toning and lenghtening muscles throughout the body.  </image:caption>
